Born in ETTERBEEK (Brussels, Belgium) in 1978, Laurent Dierick started painting at the age of 16. Inhabited by numerous references (Rauschenberg, Tapies, Kiefer, Cy Twombly, Jean-Michel Basquiat...), but reluctant to any masterly and dogmatic learning, he pursues his pictorial work as a self-taught artist. Fascinated by the material and trained in painting restoration, he explores the multiple possibilities of mixed techniques: collage, sand, plaster, glue, resin, varnish, oil, acrylic...
