Storage furniture by Gordon Bunshaft (1909-1990)
Desk credenza in teak and teak veneer, designed by Gordon Bunschaft and manufactured by De Coene for the Lambert bank around 1960. The credenza has 4 drawers on the left side and a double evolution cupboard on the right side. A side lock locks the whole cabinet. It is finished at the back, so the credenza is presentable from all sides.
Restoration of use and maintenance.

Gordon Bunshaft is an important American architect. Inspired by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, he is a follower of a minimalist style. In 1952, he built the "Lever House", the first skyscraper in Manhattan, which is essentially made of glass, for which he received the Pritzker Prize in 1988.
