Maurice Jallot is the son of Léon Jallot. Like his father Léon, Maurice is a woodcarver, cabinetmaker and decorator. As soon as he graduated from the Boule school in Paris, he worked with his father and together they made furniture with elegant and pure lines, highlighting the beauty of wood, their favourite material. Very attached to the principle of the "unique piece", Maurice Jaillot quickly manages to bring out the luxurious character of each of his creations. Thus, he is called to work on selected projects, such as the decoration of the Elysée, ministries, embassies...
