After a training of doucière size with the painter H. Goetz, who introduced him to carborundum engraving, of which he was the inventor, Andelu worked from 1968 to 1980 with the painter James Coignard and participated in the printing of his engravings.
With this experience, she took her artist's name "Andelu" in 1989, developed a mixed technique on canvas and paper and produced numerous carborundum engravings.
Since her first exhibition in Paris in 1990, Andelu exhibits very regularly in many countries, whose ancient cultures nourish her artistic creation such as the influence of Peru or China.
Today, the artist lives and works in Vallauris, in the south of France.
