Thanks to its size and particularly successful sinuous movement, this scroll can be considered one of the most accomplished of the series produced at the time.

Matéi NEGREANU born in 1941 (Romania) graduated from the Bucharest School of Fine Arts in 1972 (teacher Zoe Baicoianu, sculpture and Lucia Ioan, painting). He has lived and worked in France since 1981. In 1995, he was named Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Matéi Négréanu's works are coveted by discerning collectors worldwide and can be found in prestigious private collections.
