Myriam Baudin is a French artist born in 1968. She studied advertising before attending the Estienne and Duperré schools. Since her first solo show in Paris in 2000, she has been honing a "pop" language tinged with surrealism. Renouncing the status of mere spectator of our world, Myriam Baudin sets herself up as a subversive sentinel, offering an aesthetic illustration of human paradoxes. With irony and causticity, for the past 15 years she has been denouncing the wanderings of the individual enslaved to the beautiful promises sold by new technologies, the media and consumer society.
