Born on May 29, 1961 in Luxembourg-City, Sus Hierzig studied graphic design at La Cambre (Enseignement National Supérieur des Arts Visuels) in Brussels. She has been an art teacher at the school in Luxembourg since 1995 and a member of the "Empreinte" printmaking workshop in Luxembourg since 2000. She is best known for her serigraphs, copper engravings and lithographs.
