In Boulle marquetry, decorated with foliate scrolls on a brown and red tortoiseshell background, bronze ringed dial with Roman numerals supporting two serrated hands.
The front features two fluted Corinthian columns, a gilded applique decorated with acanthus leaf scrolls, and a central medallion engraved with the signature "Gaudron - Paris".
The ensemble is topped by a cap with an openwork balustrade, surmounted by four ormolu fire pots.
The lower part of the curved drapery is supported by four ormolu ball feet.
Old movement, suspension changed.
